My Bio

My name's Annie, and I started drawing after I moved from my first home in NJ. I've since progresed to working on the computer, and would eventually liek to work as a character designer for video games.
Besides drawing, I sing, play guitar (badly, since I just started), and love science. I'm an avid reader, and am often asked to explain what a word means during a casual conversation with my peers.
Currently, I'm seventeen, but I often get mistaken for a twelve year old. I've even been asked by the waiter if I would like crayons, to which I replied "No, that's alright. I use PENS now!"
I'm quite short, which I suspect is why people think I'm so much younger than I am, despite that fact that I've been told I act older.
Anyways, I hope you like my drawings/journals and such!

Okay, so the count down on my meter is just about the most nerve-wracking thing ever. I suppose some context is needed. My meter is the thing I use to test my blood sugar and whoever made it thought it might be helpful to have it count down from five before it tells you your number. It's terrible. You sit watching the screen having an acute panic attack with about a million thought going through your head. My inner monologue goes a little something like this: "Okay, five seconds now... what if I didn't count right I'm sure I did but wait was I supposed to change the carb ratio and what about that piece of cake that I wasn't sure what to c

Fun With Late Night Lows

As I mentioned a few times prior, I've been a type 1 diabetic for eight years. One fun little side effect of this is my blood sugar sometimes drops low at night, and I have to get my drowsy self up out of the computer chair I most likely fell asleep in and stumble down the two hallways and flight of steps in between my room and the kitchen, during which I manage to knock into every *possible* wall I come across. This, obviously, is not particularly pleasant. Now, lets add in the last fun little twist, which is there are absolutely no lights on in my home at night. Not one.
